New Jersey Motorsports Park features two world-class road courses: Thunderbolt and Lightning. The southern road circuit, Thunderbolt Raceway, is named after the Republic P-47 “Thunderbolt” fighter plane and features 2.25 miles of asphalt, 12 challenging turns and a half-mile straightway. The 1.9-mile northern circuit, Lightning Raceway, is named for the P-38 Lightning fighter aircraft and has 10 dramatic corners and elevation changes.
